CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA, D.O.B.: JULY 5, 1983, did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 460; Drivers shall keep both feet in the stirrups during the post parade, while in front of the grandstand, and from the time the horses are brought to the starting gate until the race has been completed. Drivers shall be permitted to remove a foot from the stirrups during the course of the race solely for the purpose of pulling ear plugs and once these have been pulled, the foot must be placed back into the stirrup. In the opinion of the Board of Judges, TRAINER/DRIVER, TERRY DEAN KAUFMAN, PERM. ADD.: ALDERGROVE, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA, D.O.B. JUNE 18, 1973, did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 458(2)(a)(ii)(c)(ii); At any time while on the grounds of an Association, it is a violation of the Rules for a driver, or the person in control of the horse, to engage in any of the following actions with respect to their driving conduct: excessive action, which is characterized by unreasonable quantity or degree, including using the whip continuously and/or without allowing the horse time to respond. At any time while on the grounds of an Association, the whip shall only be used for safety purposes and for very light encouragement. The only movement allowed to encourage a horse is a movement of the wrist. In the opinion of the Board of Judges, OWNER/TRAINER/DRIVER, FARRIER/PLATER, CHRISTOPHER ADAM BROWN, PERM. ADD.: WAWANESA, MANITOBA, CANADA, D.O.B. NOVEMBER 20, 1986, did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 458(2)(a)(ii)(c)(ii); At any time while on the grounds of an Association, it is a violation of the Rules for a driver, or the person in control of the horse, to engage in any of the following actions with respect to their driving conduct: excessive action, which is characterized by unreasonable quantity or degree,including using the whip continuously and/or without allowing the horse time to respond;At any time while on the grounds of an Association, the whip shall only be used for safety purposes and for very light encouragement. In the opinion of the Board of Judges, OWNER/TRAINER/DRIVER, PHILIP SYLVIO GIESBRECHT, PERM. ADD.: FORT SASKATCHEWAN, ALBERTA, CANADA, D.O.B. In the opinion of the Board of Judges, OWNER/TRAINER, AUTHORIZED AGENT, BRINSLEY MARIE BROOKING-LUTZ, PERM. ADD.: CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA, D.O.B. OCTOBER 24, 1990, did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 123(1)(2); Any person who is responsible for a racehorse stabled on the grounds of a racetrack for the purpose of racing must ensure that a negative test for equine infectious anemia (Coggins test) dated in the preceding 12 months (365 days), has been issued with respect to that horse. No person may bring a horse onto the grounds of a racetrack or permit the entry of a horse onto the grounds of a racetrack, unless a certificate of a negative test for equine infectious anemia has been issued with respect to that horse in accordance with subsection (1); for having a horse shipped in without a current negative Coggins test.

PENALTY: BRINSLEY BROOKING-LUTZ is hereby FINED TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS ($250.00).

In the opinion of the Board of Judges, OWNER/TRAINER/DRIVER, KELLY ORVIN HOERDT, PERM. ADD. BEAUMONT, ALBERTA, CANADA, D.O.B.: MARCH 19, 1966, did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 123(1); Any person responsible for a horse stabled at a Horse Racing Alberta licensed racetrack must provide proof of a negative Equine Infectious Anemia (Coggins test). The test must be dated within the past 12 months (365 days) and submitted at least 48 hours before admittance to the racetrack. Proof of the negative test must be reported to Horse Racing Alberta Security. For full requirements, refer to Policy RLP012 Equine Infectious Anemia Policy; for having a horse on the grounds with expired Coggins at THE TRACK ON 2.
