Why are we now accepting online licence applications? +

The decision to move to an online application process is driven by several factors, primarily to enhance convenience for everyone. The online system is faster, eliminates the risk of lost mail, and introduces the added convenience of credit or debit card payments.

How do I create an account? +

Creating an account is simple. Click on “Register” to begin. You will first create a username and password, then complete your permanent profile.

Can I use my account to apply for someone else? +

No. Your account is linked to your personal profile and is intended for your exclusive use. Profiles are permanent, and once created, only need to be updated as necessary for subsequent applications.

How do I reset my password? +

If you need to reset your password, click on the “Forgot your password?” link.

Instructions will be sent to your email address.

Can I change my username? +

Currently, changing your username is not an option. Please choose carefully when creating your username. Rest assured, it remains private and is visible only to you.

Why isn’t the application consolidated in one place, like the paper version? +

To improve efficiency, we have separated the profile and application processes. The profile needs to be filled out only once and should be updated as needed. The application portion will be completed each time a new licence is required. For example, if you move, simply update your address in your profile.

How do I navigate to a specific page? +

Currently, navigation is available only through the “Next” and “Previous” buttons. We are actively working to enhance the navigation experience in future updates.

How do I add or edit my profile picture? +

You'll be prompted to take a photo as you complete your application. If you're using a device with a camera, simply follow the on-screen instructions. If you don't have a camera, you can upload a photo (filename: captured_image.png) or email it to the Licensing Clerk, who will be happy to assist you.

How do I manage my Privacy Settings? +

If using a public computer, please remember to sign out when you're finished. On a personal device, your privacy settings are managed through your device's standard settings.

What should I do if I encounter an error? +

Please follow the on-screen instructions. If you continue to experience difficulties, please call us at 587- 416-5455 during office hours, and we'll be happy to help.
