In the opinion of the Board of Judges, DRIVER, BLAKE FRANCIS PIWNIUK, PERM. ADD.: MACNUTT, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA, D.O.B. SEPTEMBER 7, 1990, did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 456(vii); A monetary penalty and/or suspension may be applied by the starter or by the Judges for any of the following violations contained in subsections (i)-(vii). In addition, the Judges may place the offending horse for a violation of subsections (iii), (iv) or (vi) of this rule: failure to come into position or remain in position on the gate; while driving #6 “WICKED FEELING” in Race 7, Sunday, March 22, 2026.

PENALTY: BLAKE PIWNIUK is hereby FINED THE SUM OF FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00).

OWNER/TRAINER, TAMARA CHERYL BAKER, PERM. ADD.: LEDUC, ALBERTA, CANADA, D.O.B. JANUARY 8, 1979, having PAID all outstanding FINES, SERVED the full term of her SUSPENSION issued under HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule #55 dated July 12, 2025 and HORSE RACING ALBERTA Ruling #92 dated August 9, 2025, and having provided a NEGATIVE SAMPLE as required, is hereby REINSTATED IN GOOD STANDING BY THE BOARD OF STEWARDS. Ms Baker is therefore ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR A HORSE RACING ALBERTA LICENCE FOR THE 2026 RACING SEASON.

In the opinion of the Board of Judges, OWNER/TRAINER, REBECCA LEE KANAK, PERM.ADD.: SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA, D.O.B.: MAY 15, 1999, did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule123(1); Any person responsible for a horse stabled at a Horse Racing Alberta licensed racetrack must provide proof of a negative Equine Infectious Anemia (Coggins test). The test must be dated within the past 12 months (365 days) and submitted at least 48 hours before admittance to the racetrack. Proof of the negative test must be reported to Horse Racing Alberta Security. For full requirements, refer to Policy RLP012 Equine Infectious Anemia Policy; for having the horse “MIDNIGHT MOVER” on the grounds with an expired Coggins at CENTURY DOWNS RACETRACK, March 10, 2026.

PENALTY: REBECCA KANAK is hereby FINED THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00)
