In the opinion of the Board of Judges, DRIVER, BLAKE FRANCIS PIWNIUK, PERM. ADD.: MACNUTT, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA, D.O.B.: SEPTEMBER 7, 1990, didviolate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 456s (xiv); A monetary penalty and/or a suspension may be applied by the starter or by the Judges for any of the following violations contained insubsections (i)-(vii). In addition, the Judges may place the offending horse for a violation ofsubsections (iii), (iv) or (ix) of this rule: changes course or position, or swerves in or out, or bears in or out during any part of the race in a manner that compels another horse to shorten its stride or cause another driver to change course, take the horse back, or pull the horse out of its stride; for causing interference to #1 “THE DICKENS” before the quarter while driving #2 “CATCH ME OLIVER” in Race 2, Saturday, October 24, 2026.
In accordance with HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 276(2)(a) #2“CATCH ME OLIVER” the 3rd place finisher was placed 5th.
PENALTY: BLAKE PIWNIUK is hereby SUSPENDED TWO (2) RACE DAYS (DRIVING ONLY) NOVEMBER 6 AND NOVEMBER 7, 2026.
