MEETING: Century Mile Racetrack & Casino - February 3, 2026

On January 27, 2026, Racing Forensics Inc. reported that the blood sample of the horse “MAJOR CUSSING”, 5th place finisher in Race 6, Saturday, January 24, 2026, tested POSITIVE for TCO2.

In accordance with HORSE RACING ALBERTA Licensing Rule 68, OWNER/TRAINER/DRIVER, AUTHORIZED AGENT, JOHN “BRANDON” SCOTT CAMPBELL, PERM. ADD. CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA, D.O.B.: JULY 5, 1983 is hereby FINED THE SUM OF TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000.00) AND FULLY SUSPENDED AND DENIED THE PRIVILEGES OF THE GROUNDS (INCLUDING GRANDSTAND) OF ALL RACE TRACKS IN ALBERTA THAT COME UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF HORSE RACING ALBERTA FOR SIXTY (60) CALENDAR DAYS, FEBRUARY 1, TO APRIL 1, 2026 (INCLUSIVE). (First offence Class 3 drug.)

“MAJOR CUSSING” is INELIGIBLE to race for a period of fifteen (15) calendar days, February 1 to February 15, 2026 (inclusive) as per HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 292.

The horse “MAJOR CUSSING” is hereby DISQUALIFIED and declared UNPLACED and the Horsemen’s Bookkeeper is hereby ordered to re-distribute the purse money as follows: 5th: “CAPTAINS HIDEAWAY”.

In accordance with HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 139(1)(2), 263, 264, 265, 266, 267(1)(2), 279, 286(a), 287(1)(xx), 292 and 296(2)(a)(b)(f)(g).

Fine to be paid before re-instatement.

This ruling shall in no way affect the Pari-Mutuel wagering.
