Following a telephone conversation held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 in the Board of Steward’s office at the Century Mile Racetrack and Casino with OWNER, LANDON CHARLES JONES, PERM. ADD.: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA, D.O.B. MARCH 6, 1986, regarding HORSE RACING ALBERTA Ruling #132 dated October 21, 2025, it is hereby determined that Mr. Jones owner’s licence be RESTORED TO GOOD STANDING.
This status shall remain in effect however; Mr. Jones is required to appear before the Board of Stewards upon notice at which time the matter will be further addressed. Failure to appear may result in further regulatory action.

In the opinion of the Board of Judges, TRAINER/OWNER, AUTHORIZED AGENT, CHRISTOPHER RONALD LANCASTER, AIRDRIE, ALBERTA, CANADA, D.O.B. JANUARY 9, 1991, did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 134(2)(b)(ii)(3); If a horse is on EIPH certified list, its trainer or the trainer’s licensed representative must, before the horse competes, if a Standardbred, the trainer or his authorized representative must report with the horse to the test barn at the appointed time for the injection and assist if required, the administration of furosemide. The stewards/judges board must scratch a horse from a race if the requirements of this section are not met; thereby causing “SINGING RAMONA” to be scratched from Race 3, Friday, May 1, 2026.

NOVEMBER 26, 1956, did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 344; No person may smoke on the property of a licensed operator except in designated areas; by smoking in an undesignated area on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

In the opinion of the Board of Judges, OWNER/TRAINER/DRIVER, BLAINE PAUL COLE CHAPPELL,
PERM. ADD.: MOUNTAIN VIEW COUNTY, ALBERTA, CANADA, D.O.B. APRIL 13, 1996, did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 123(1); Any person responsible for a horse stabled at a Horse Racing Alberta licensed racetrack must provide proof of a negative Equine Infectious Anemia (Coggins test). The test must be dated within the past 12 months (365 days) and submitted at least 48 hours before admittance to the racetrack. Proof of the negative test must be reported to Horse Racing Alberta Security. For full requirements, refer to Policy RLP012 Equine Infectious Anemia Policy; for having the horse “MACHYAGONADOBADBOY”on the grounds with expired Coggins at Century Downs Racetrack and Casino.
PENALTY: BLAINE CHAPPELL is hereby FINED THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).

SEPTEMBER 7, 1990, did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 458s (1)(d); A driver shall not commit any of the following acts which are considered violations of driving rules: take up or slow up in front of other horses so as to cause confusion or interference among the trailing horses; while driving “JOE RICH” in Race 10, Saturday, April 18, 2026.
