MEETING: Century Downs Racetrack and Casino, Balzac, Alberta, Canada - September 5, 2026

In the opinion of the Board of Judges, OWNER/TRAINER/DRIVER, ROBERT EVAN SCRANNAGE, PERM. ADD.: RED DEER, ALBERTA, CANADA, D.O.B. DECEMBER 22, 1994, did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 296(1)(a)(2)(a)(b) and 300(1)(b)(c)(2)(c). In accordance with HORSE RACING ALBERTA Drug and Alcohol Policy dated September 1, 2019, and HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 296(1)(a)(2)(a)(b) and 300(1)(b)(c)(2)(c) after supplying a BODY FLUID SAMPLE on Saturday, August 29, 2026, that resulted in a POSITIVE SAMPLE TEST for NON ILLICIT DRUG confirmed by Dynacare on Friday, September 4, 2026.

PENALTY: ROBERT SCRANNAGE is hereby FINED THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS ($150.00) AND SUSPENDED FROM HIS DRIVING DUTIES FOR A PERIOD OF TEN (10) CALENDAR DAYS, SEPTEMBER 4 TO SEPTEMBER 13, 2026 (INCLUSIVE)

Following his suspension, ROBERT SCRANNAGE must pay his fine and present himself to HORSE RACING ALBERTA Security to provide a negative sample test at his own expense before reinstatement will be granted.
