In the opinion of the Board of Judges, OWNER/GROOM, CHRISTOPHER GEORGE CURRIE, PERM. ADD.: CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA, D.O.B. JULY 11, 1994, did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 123(1)(2); Any person who is responsible for a racehorse stabled on the grounds of a racetrack for the purpose of racing must ensure that a negative test for equine infectious anemia (Coggins test) dated in the preceding 12 months (365 days), has been issued with respect to that horse. No person may bring a horse onto the grounds of a racetrack or permit the entry of a horse onto the grounds of a racetrack, unless a certificate of a negative test for equine infectious anemia has been issued with respect to that horse in accordance with subsection (1); for having a horse shipped in without a current negative Coggins test.
PENALTY: CHRIS CURRIE is hereby FINED TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS ($250.00).
In accordance with HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 297(1) fine to be paid within ten (10) days.
