MEETING: Century Downs, Balzac, Alberta, Canada
April 23, 2025

In the opinion of the Board of Judges, DRIVER, FARRIER/PLATER, THOMAS MICHAEL MILLER, PERM. ADD.: CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA, D.O.B.: OCTOBER 11, 1978 did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 286 g; A person violates these rules who, (a) in the opinion of the judges/stewards board, conducts themselves in a manner prejudicial to the best interest of horse racing; and Rule 287 g; (1) person also violates these rules who, (xxvii) fights on a race track; (xxx) disturbs the peace at a race track; for an altercation in the Paddock following Race 7, Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

PENALTY: THOMAS MILLER is hereby SUSPENDED FOR THIRTY (30) CALENDAR DAYS FROM APRIL 27 – MAY 26, 2025.

A reduced penalty may be considered after twenty-three (23) days, if Mr. MILLER has met with the Manager, Backstretch Development, and she makes a recommendation for a re-instatement upon Mr. MILLER completing a recognized “ANGER MANAGEMENT” program and “RESPECT IN THE WORKPLACE” on-line program.
