In the opinion of the Board of Judges, OWNER/TRAINER/DRIVER, KELLY ORVIN HOERDT, PERM.ADD.: BEAMOUNT, ALBERTA, CANADA, D.O.B.: MAY 20, 1966 , did violate HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 458(2)(d)(i); Urging rule violations; A driver, or the person in control of the horse, is required to: keep a line in each hand for the entire race, from the starter's call to the gate until the finish of the race, except for the purpose of adjusting equipment; while driving “RUM N CUSTARD” in Race 9, Saturday, January 31, 2026.
PENALTY: KELLY HOERDT is hereby FINED THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) AND SUSPENDED FROM DRIVING FOR ONE DAY, SATURDAY, MARCH 21, 2025.
In accordance with HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 297(1) fine to be paid within ten (10) days. (Failure to pay the fine by March 24, 2026, will result in automatic suspension of license.)
