Throwback Thursday - Terri Landaker

Today’s Throwback takes us back to 2004 and an interview with Terri Landaker. In 2003, Terri went from Leading Jockey at Rocky Mountain Turf Club (then Whoop-Up Downs) and High Point Quarter Horse rider in Canada, to lying in a coma in the Foothills hospital for 10 days after a bad fall in a race. Terri’s recovery has been a miracle, and she’s not only learned to walk and talk again, but has been back in the winner’s circle as a Thoroughbred trainer.

Terri worked at Rocky Mountain Turf Club as the Parade Marshall/Outrider in 2016, and will be back in the saddle on her retired racehorse, leading the post parade again in 2017. Terri’s attitude towards her challenges in life, combined with her easy smile, passion for racing and zest for life make her an inspiration for all who know her.
