MEETING: Century Mile Racetrack & Casino - June 6, 2026

JOCKEY, KODI MWANDO DOTTIN-DOWNES, PERM. ADD.:  MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO, CANADA, D.O.B. JULY 14, 1998, is hereby SUSPENDED FROM RACE RIDING FOR ONE (1) CALENDAR DAY, FRIDAY, JUNE 12, 2026 for allowing his mount #3 “DIAMOND DI” to drift out under left handed urging in the stretch run causing #4 “OOPS” (Kimal Santo) to check his mount sharply in late stretch.  Therefore #3 “DIAMOND DI”, the 2nd place finisher was DISQUALIFIED and placed 3rd in Race 6, Friday, June 5, 2026.

NOVEMBER 22, 1970, is hereby  SUSPENDED FROM RIDING FOR ONE (1) RACE DAY, SATURDAY, JUNE 13, 2026 for allowing his mount #4 “PROPERLY PROPER” to come in when not properly clear entering the last turn, interfering with #1 “CANDY MAY” and #2 “POSSIBLE TINA” on his inside thereby causing #4 “PROPERLY PROPER” to be DISQUALIFIED from 1st and placed 3rd in Race 3, Saturday, June 6, 2026.

In accordance with HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rules 240, 270(a), 271, 276(1)(2)(a)(c)(4) and 296(1)(a)(2)(b).

The Rules Governing Horse Racing in Alberta are AMENDED as follows:

Chapter 3: General Horse Racing Rules, Part 2 Race Meetings \ Division 2 Entries and Nominations

The following rule is AMENDED to read:

Rule 157 t Limitation on entries

(1) A horse may only be entered in a race if

(a) The horse is not on the starter’s list or the veterinarian list;

(b) The horse is tattooed, or if required, other evidence of identification, and a record of the tattoo, or if required, other evidence, appears on the registration certificate and the tattoo number, or if required, other evidence of identification, is registered with the Thoroughbred Protective Bureau, or other breed registry recognized by Horse Racing Alberta.

(2) A horse may not be entered

(a) in 2 or more races on the same day, at the same race meeting, or

(b) in 2 or more races at different race tracks on the same day.

(3) A horse is not permitted to start more than twice in any previous twenty-one (21) day period.

(4) Horses beaten by over 12 lengths in 3 consecutive starts are ineligible to race and will be added to the *official veterinarian’s list.

Rule 157 t Limitation on entries previously stated:

(1) A horse may only be entered in a race if

(a) The horse is not on the starter’s list or the veterinarian list;

(b) The horse is tattooed, or if required, other evidence of identification, and a record of the tattoo, or if required, other evidence, appears on the registration certificate and the tattoo number, or if required, other evidence of identification, is registered with the Thoroughbred Protective Bureau, or other breed registry recognized by Horse Racing Alberta.

ADD.:  KINGSTON, JAMAICA, D.O.B. JULY 10, 1990, is hereby SUSPENDED FROM RACE RIDING FOR TEN (10) CALENDAR DAYS AND FINED THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS ($150.00).  Having SERVED ONE (1) DAY of his SUSPENSION, May 29, 2026, Mr. Steadman is hereby SUSPENDED FOR NINE (9) CALENDAR DAYS STARTING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3, 2026 THROUGH TO THURSDAY, JUNE 11, 2026 (INCLUSIVE).  (First offence.)
