4 Trainers objection #4 Squalotoro (Antonio Reyes) on the #5 Vantasticcanaveral (Cesar Vidaurri) leaving the gate.  After reviewing films and talking to Mr. Reyes, it was determined that the #5 did come in sharply causing the #4 to clip heels with the #5.  The #5 was disqualified from second and placed fourth. Official order of finish was 6-2-4-5-1-3.

  • Race 2 – Jockey Rico Walcott was issued a slip from the clerk of scales of an appointment with the Board of Stewards regarding misuse of the riding crop. After reviewing films and talking to Mr. Walcott, he was issued a one day suspension Sunday September 20, 2026. (Fourth offense).
  • Race 4 – Jockey Cesar Vidaurri was issued a slip from the clerk of scales of an appointment with the Board of Stewards regarding the disqualification.  After reviewing films and talking to Mr. Vidaurri, he was issued a one day suspension Sunday September 20, 2026.
  • Race 6 – Jockey Kyle Carter was issued a slip from the clerk of scales of an appointment with the Board of Stewards regarding misuse of the riding crop.  Mr. Carter waived his right to a hearing and was given a $300.00 fine (Third offense).
