Trainer Objection #1 O La Dee Da (Daniel Garcia) claimed foul on the #2 Santana Chicka (Daniel Tavares) and the #3 Shez Cruisin Hot (M A Campillo) during the stretch. After watching the films from all angles, it was determined by the Board of Stewards that the #3 Shez Cruisin Hot did come down on the #2 Santana Chicka and #1 O La Dee Da, therefore #3 was disqualified from second and placed sixth. Stewards Inquiry and rider objection. The rider of the #1 Bourbon On Ice (Amadeo Perez) claimed foul on the #3 Ladyace of Speight (Mauricio Malvaez) concerning the run into the turn. After reviewing films from all angles, it was determined by the Board of Stewards that the #3 Ladyace of Speight did drop in on the #1 Bourbon On Ice causing interference, therefore #3 was disqualified from first and placed second. Backstretch- accidents, fines, suspensions, objections, disqualifications, refunds, pertinent incidents, general details
- Race 1 – Jockey M A. Campillo was issued a slip from the clerk of scales of an appointment with the Board of Stewards regarding the disqualification. After reviewing films, Mr. Campillo was given a one day riding suspension (Friday, May 22, 2026).
- Race 2 – Jockey Daniel Tavares was issued a slip from the clerk of scales of an appointment with the board of stewards for misuse of the riding crop. After reviewing films, Mr. Tavares was fined $135.00 (first offense).
- Race 3 – Jockey Mauricio Malvaez was issued a slip from the clerk of scales of an appointment with the Board of Stewards regarding the disqualification. After reviewing the films with Mr. Malvaez, it was decided by the Board of Stewards that the jockey was held blameless.
- Race 6 – Jockey Amadeo Perez was excused by the Board of Stewards for the remainder of his mounts.
