After having received confirmation of a POSITIVE TEST from Dynacare dated August 13, 2026, for an illicit drug, JOCKEY, JOSE BLAS BOTELLO LULE, PERM. ADD.: OLDS, ALBERTA, CANADA, D.O.B.: FEBRUARY 3, 1991, is hereby FINED THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00) AND DENIED THE GROUNDS, INCLUDING THE GRANDSTAND, OF ALL ALBERTA RACETRACKS FOR A PERIOD OF THIRTY (30) CALENDAR DAYS. (First Offence)
Having served one (1) day of his suspension, Mr. Botello is hereby SUSPENDED TWENTY-NINE (29) CALENDAR DAYS FROM THURSDAY, AUGUST 13, 2026 TO THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2026 (INCLUSIVE). Following his suspension, Mr. Botello must pay his fine and present himself to HORSE RACING ALBERTA Security to provide a negative test at his own expense before re-instatement will be granted.
In accordance with HORSE RACING ALBERTA Rule 294(1)(2)(b)(3), 295(1)(2), 296(1)(a)(2)(b), 298(1), 300(1)(c)(2)(c), and 301(1)(d).
