Throwback Thursday - Brother Derek

The Kentucky Derby, “ The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports.”

On the first Saturday in May, the historic Grade I stake race for 3 yr olds carrying 126 lbs, Fillies 121 lbs loads the gate at Churchill Downs in Louisville Kentucky. In 2006, Calgary businessman Cecil Peacock and his support staff brought his sensation Brother Derek to the Twin Spires. Today we look back at this exciting Alberta Racing moment.
