With Alberta harness tracks dark, this weekend, a few Albertan's will make the trip west to chase after some stakes money this coming Monday in B.C.. Four $100K races have been programmed for the 11-dash Remembrance Day card at Fraser Downs...

  • Race 6 - Robert Millbank Memorial Breeders Stake - 2YO C & G
  • Race 8 - Mary Murphy Breeders Stake - 3YO F
  • Race 10 - Robert Murphy Memorial Breeders Stake - 3YO C & G

Race 4

Kelly Hoerdt will drive YJULIAHOS for trainer Richard Landcaster. This talented daughter of Trust The Artist is the second highest earner in the field and will leave from the trailing post 9. The one to beat, here, is the unbeaten filly PROBERT (Dali-Oulawcherishafool-Blue Burner) for Rod Therres. Leaving from post 4 this early speed threat will try to go 6 for 6 in her young career.

This race features 2 daughters of Custard The Dragon.

Race 6

Connie Kolthammer will need some luck with her colt OUTLAW C MY SHADOW here... "Race Gods, for the draw, weren’t on our side for the stake final - (we got the) 8-hole," commented Kolthammer. "We earned our way, in there, so onward and upward..." Brandon Campbell will drive the favourite in 4 MAJOR CUSTARD - a speedy Custard The Dragon son that took his 1:54.4 mark, in his latest, on October 24th.

This race features 3 sons of Custard The Dragon.

Race 8

Alberta Super Final winner MRS SUHWIGGINS will try to go over $200K in career earnings in this one. The Custard The Dragon miss has $162,300 banked from her two seasons on track. Brandon Campbell stays on to drive, for trainer Amy Henry, from post 6. HOTTIEONTHEHORIZON gets the coveted rail for co-owner/driver Kelly Hoerdt here. With 10 wins and $91K earned, in 2019, this Vertcial Horizon filly be looking to bounce back, on Monday, after being roughed up at Century Mile last weekend.

This race features 4 daughters of Custard The Dragon.

Race 10

Kelly Hoerdt shows up with 3 trainees in to go - 4 SUSPICIONS RUNWILD (Bill Tainsh Jr.), 6 KNEEDEEP N CUSTARD (Hoerdt) and 9 THANKYAVERYMUCH (Mike Hennessey)... Brandon Campbell gets another great shot here with 7 ROCKIN N TALKIN, for trainer Jim Marino, fresh off a 1:53.4 life best... KNEEDEEP N CUSTARD has enjoyed a remarkable season, at the races, with $152K earned and a 13-2-2 win-place-show record from 21 starts. A $27,000 purchase, from the ASHA Yearling Sale, of 2017 - winning on Monday would see this handsome son of Custard The Dragon go down as one of the richest 'sophmore-season' pacers ever produced in Western Canada. He's owned by Hoerdt, Blair Corbeil and Fred Gilbert.

This race features 4 sons of Custard The Dragon.

Billy Davis Jr. will be flying in, from Ontario, to drive in all 4 stake finals. Davis has been a regular at Batavia Downs and Buffalo Raceway, in New York state, this season.
