Horses will go to the post Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Rocky Mountain Turf Club.

Friday's six-race card gets underway at 6 p.m. with one six furlong race on the card, three five and a half furlong runs, and a five furlong race, with no Quarter horse sprints on the card.

Don't forget this is the Belmont weekend and for the sake of horse racing be in there rooting for California Chrome. We need another Triple Crown winner. Considering the big weekend the RMTC will only have seven races Saturday, allowing time to view the Belmont show and race live on TV.

Saturday's seven-race card kicks off with two All Canadian Open Futurity Trials, over a distance of 220 yards.

Angelle Carter will have four horses in the two races, CJ Hezasmilingdown, Spin Time, Dash For The Wind and Saggarah.

There will be two, seven furlong races on the card, the fifth and sixth races. During the two distance races you'll see horse like Eighty Eight, Excess Baggage, Again and Gone and Slews Academy.

Post time Saturday, and Sunday, will be 1:15 p.m.

Sunday is a big day for RMTC horsemen, with eight races on tap, including a pair of seven furlong runs.

The second race is a 350-yard sprint with two Lyle Magnuson-trained horses, Shot Both Sides and Rocky Mountain Sheriff coming out of the first and eighth hole respectively.

The fourth race features Stan Marks' Caesar's Son, Corrine Draper's War Fund and Inca Roca from Dennis Dorchester.

There will an exciting Spring Overnite Sprint covering five and a half furlongs, for $8,000.

Everyone's eyes will be on a head-to-head clash between Pete Dubois and his Dubla Gold with North Cuthbertson's Beau Gris. Also in the race are other top trainers like Rick Wiest, Lyle Magnuson and Kevin Oberholtzer.

The RMTC Spring Meet is winding into top gear as we hit June, with the end of the meet July 5- 6 with Millarville in there on July 1.
