The year was 2007 when the sensational Footprint matured into an amazing three year old and was pointed to the Canadian Derby. Under the training of Joan Petrowski and the piloting of 42 year old jockey Real Simard, today's throwback takes us back to a feature captured prior to the 2007 Derby. Footprint would go on to win the Canadian Derby that year and add his name to the history books.
