Horse Racing Alberta is pleased to announce that Theresa Sealy has accepted the position of Backstretch Coordinator.

Theresa is no stranger to the Backstretch and will continue to bring her expertise as our Horse Industry Expert as well as assume the role of Coordinator for backstretch programs for our backstretch employees. Theresa will work with Tracks and Horsemen's Associations to plan, develop and implement programs for the backstretch.

Theresa will continue and maintain the Backstretch Foundation and its benevolence functions as well as social media Facebook and Twitter accounts and including the popular backstretch monthly newsletter.

Theresa will continue her important role as an instructor for our Olds College Groom School and Exercise Rider Schools as well as responsibility for recruiting and interface with Olds College. Largely due to Theresa's efforts our Exercise Rider students have had International opportunities and this will continue under her leadership.

Theresa will coordinate with all tracks participation in "Days at the Races". This program has been very successful in introducing new fans to our sport and our race tracks.

Theresa will be the referral contact for AADAC programs as needed or requested.

Theresa also continues her important duties with the HBPA.

Please welcome Theresa in her new position and we look forward to Industry's support of her efforts in our backstretch at all tracks .
