There have been multiple reports on social media that the Thoroughbred population at Northlands Park is experiencing an outbreak of EHV-1 neurotropic form. To be clear: there have been no confirmed cases of EHV-1 at Northlands Park. While a respiratory virus did affect the horse population at Northlands no horses exhibited neurological symptoms, and there were no deaths reported - this respiratory virus appears to have largely run its course, with very few horses currently affected. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as warranted.
